Although lettered as 'Ladder 6' in this factory photo this 1951 Seagrave 65ft straight frame aerial ladder was placed in service as Ladder 5 at Station 6 on the cities 'West Side'.

Ladder 5's aerial shows added running board encloslures and air mask mounts. These are only examples of the 'enclosure program' started in 1962 that added other such items to many of the post-war rigs.
