1895 - Lt. Rober of the Mpls Fire Dept. invents the game of softball at Station 19.

  • February,1894 Opened as Sta 19 with Eng 19, Lad 6, Chemical 9
  • May, 1898 Chemical 9 disbanded
  • August, 1945 Engine 19 & Ladder 6 become Combination 19
  • April 6, 1950 Engine 19 & Ladder 6 replaced Combination 19
  • April, 1968 Engine 19 received 250 gallon booster tank
  • November 12, 1976 Station closed when new Station 19 opens
